IBPS RRB Syllabus of Officer Scale -I, II, and Office Assistant:

The selection of the candidates done through the Examination is a complete selection procedure for this, which is mandatory to clear. In the selection procedure, one will have to appear for two phases of computer-based Examination called a Preliminary exam and Mains exam. The syllabus and pattern of both the exams are bot different. After clearing this both exams, All the passed candidates will proceed for the Interview cum Personality test. Exam Pattern of Preliminary and Mains Exam:

  • Both the exams will be held online (Computer Based).
  • All the questions will be asked in Objective type with Multiple Choice Answers.
  • A number of questions in the Preliminary Exam will be 80 and each question would be carrying one marks. Total of 45 Minutes will be given to finish the paper.
  • Number of Questions in the Mains Exam (Scale I and III)  will be 200 and each question would be carrying one marks. Total 2 hours (120 minutes) will be given to finish the paper.
  • Number of Questions in Mains Exam (Scale-II General Banking Officer) will be 200 and each question would be carrying one marks.
  • Number of Question in Mains exam (Scale-II Specialist Cadre) will be 240 and each question would be carrying one marks. Total of 2.5 hours (140 minutes )will be given to finish the paper.
  • There is also Negative Marking in the examination for Preliminary and Mains Examination. 1/4 marks will be deducted for each wrong response.
  • No marks will be deducted for unattempted questions.
