UPPSC APO Syllabus, Prosecuting Officer Syllabus and Exam Pattern:
The Exam of Prosecuting officer is conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Public service Commission (UPPSC). The selection of the Candidates will be done on the basis of the written exam. the Written exam would be conducted in two phases. A candidate will have to pass both phases. even only candidates will qualify for the Phase 2 who would clear the Phase 1. A candidate will appear for Preliminary test and then Mains etc. After clearing these both phases of the Written exam, Selected candidates will proceed for the Personality test.

Exam Pattern of UPPSC APO:
As we discussed above, the selection of the candidates will be done through the written test. The written would be conducted in two phases:
- Preliminary
- Mains
The paper pattern of these both is different, we will discuss the exam pattern of the Preliminary first and then will discuss the paper pattern of Mains.

- Each question would be carrying 1.5 marks

Paper pattern of Assistant Prosecuting officer Mains Written test:
The Mains written test of UPPSC APO would be conducted in four sections and this paper would be in subjective form.

Mains Written exam syllabus of UPPSC APO:
For the Mains exam, there is no particular topic. you have to prepare the complete syllabus of it.these are the following four subjects that a candidate has to prepare.
- General Knowledge
- General Hindi
- Criminal law and Procedure
- Law of Evidence
You have to prepare the following subjects. The mains paper would have subjective types of questions. one has to prepare these complete four subjects.
In general knowledge, you might get asked to write about freedom the movements, Historical Decisions or any other things which are related to the General Knowledge. In the mains, you have to write the answers. make sure that you are good at it.
Start practicing at home for this. Pick a Random topic and Write maximum over that. Try to use proper words and Phrases. If you want to score better in this. Do the proper preparation.
